Hello, sunshine...
…every year Nick and I attend ‘Festa Italia’ which is hosted practically in our backyard at McKee Farms Park. Our little suburb of Fitchburg usually doesn’t have much going on, but we can always count on ‘Fitchburg Days’ and ‘Festa Italia’ to sate our appetite for carnivals and greasy food.

Vegetable beef stir-fry...

…the morning Nick and I left San Antonio, my dad handed me a wrapped bundle of vegetables from his garden that included zucchini, Thai basil, and Chinese string beans. It was very touching that after 4 days of non-stop preparation for my sister’s wedding with very, very little sleep (and at five in the morning)...
