Today, my little princess turns 6…
…as is customary in our household, her week-long birthday celebration begins today. Here she is enjoying her first gift (she gets one every day this week)…
…we had a hard time taking it away from her (so she wouldn’t eat the whole thing), so I would say this one was a hit…

Today, I love…
…weather that feels like Summer! Believe it or not, I’m looking forward to the impending thunderstorms tonight (knowing that I will be safe inside and my car is in an underground parking garage in case the weather gets too bad)…
…watching Zuzu enjoy the weather, too (except she runs inside every time there is a big gust of wind)…
…thinking about the prospect of moving back home next year. After discussions with my mom (and grandma, especially), moving back home seems like a pretty good idea (I guess when one daughter moves out, the other one has to move back in)…
